The Library at Western Port Secondary College is a vibrant and flexible learning space. It is open five days a week as well as lunchtimes for those students who may need to study, read or just relax quietly.

The Library staff develop positive working relationships with students and work to maximise student and staff access to resources.

Our library houses approximately 16,000 resources.

Laptops computers are available for student lending through the school day.

Structured reading programs at Year 7 and 8 reflect the high priority given to literacy development in the school.

Awards are given at the end of each semester to students who work hard with their reading.

A high quality and engaging fiction collection is maintained and students are encouraged to request books and magazines for purchase.

The Library maintains an extensive collection of audio-visual resources, including VTV, a digital audio-visual library and delivery system.
