Georgia Mcnamara set the tone for our first school assembly of the year with a lovely rendition of the national anthem.
Mr Devine addressed the College, welcoming our new students with an encouraging speech, explaining the importance of education and why it’s imperative to make the most of not only the year ahead but every year of schooling.
Our new College captains did a great job addressing the whole school for the first time, if they were nervous we wouldn’t have known as they both spoke with confidence.
Our 2018 Sport Captain Jordan Watson encouraged students to sign up for sporting events. Informing the students of all the different events coming up.
We congratulated the students who passed their Surf Life Saving, the beaches will be a safer place with them patrolling. You might catch them at Point Leo this year.

We are currently looking for families willing to host Japanese students for three nights in March, families will receive a small financial payment to assist. Please see Bu Thuy for details. Places will fill quickly so get in early! They’ll arrive on the 24th March and depart on the 27th March.
Ms Sheridan fired everyone up! Encouraging students to sign up for all sorts of exciting art projects happening around the College this year, catch up with Ms Sheridan if you’d like to be involved.
