Organ Pipes National Park

The OES class is currently studying the historical relationships with outdoor environments including geological activity that occurred in Australia prior to humans and the relationship that Indigenous communities, specifically the Boonwurong, had with outdoor environments.

The Organ Pipes are a unique rock formation located in Victoria’s smallest national park, Organ Pipes National Park, in Keilor North. They were formed by volcanic activity over two million years ago and ‘revealed’ by the activity of water erosion in the ensuing time.
