General transition info
Commencing Secondary School is an exciting transition for students and their families. At Western Port Secondary College, we aim to make this vital transitional period as seamless and positive as possible. Throughout the year we work closely with our feeder primary schools to ensure that we begin to build a relationship with students from as early as Grade Four. We encourage our Grade Six students who are transitioning to strive to be their personal best, respect others and get involved in all learning opportunities that they are presented with.
The application process for Year 7 enrolment is determined by the Victorian Department of Education and Training and is initially undertaken by the school your student attends during their Grade 6 year of schooling.
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au.
